Tawakkul

Ibn Salim (ra) student of al Junaid (ra) said:
"Whoever places their full trust in Allah, Allah makes that person's heart the residing place of the Noor of Wisdom
and He relieves him of every single anxiety
and He causes that person to reach every single thing that the person loves.
For verily He, Mighty and Majestic, says,
"Whoever places his trust in Allah, He is his Sufficiency".
He is the One Who undertakes to provide him with every single thing that he requires."

Sea

Green aventurine is a most beautiful shade of sea green  سبحان الله

Turquoise is "the colour of the deep subconscious". It's one of the cyan colours, of which there are many shades, including celeste, aqua, sea green and teal. 

We can feel how colour affects our moods - aqua or turquoise is cooling and connects to our expression. We associate it with purity, calmness, confidence and openness. 

 

The cyan colours are soothing, relaxing and unifying to work with, especially on cloudy days. SubhanAllah.

Echoes...

The 'New Qasida Book' Echoes from Eternity is so beautifully designed masha-Allah; the choice of fonts, the quality of the paper, the cover and especially the the square Kufic calligraphy. Not wanting to hide this with a fitted cover, I thought it would be nice to make a drawstring pouch. This brown linen pouch with wooden beads gives the book its own matching home big enough to fit the book and a notebook or Awrad book too. Available in the shop. Alhamdulillah

 

Travel pouch for ‘Sea Without Shore’

When Sea Without Shore was published last year, rather than make a book cover like for the Awrad Books, some sort of travel pouch was called for. This is the result after trying out a couple of prototypes masha-Allah.

The brown wool blend fabric matches the cover of the book and quilting fabric on the reverse means it can be personalised. Available to order in the shop, where you can select quilting fabric from what is available.

This is also made to order as a Mushaf/Quran pouch. Or indeed any book precious enough to have its own fitted covering!
